John Perry was Chief Aerodynamicist at Westland Helicopters Ltd. from 1981-1999. He had a primary inluence in the design and development of the British Experimental Rotor Programme (BERP) blade, which was subsequently used on versions of the Westland Lynx and EH101 (now AW101) helicopters.
