The Robert L. Lichten Award  awarded to Joshua H. Gordis of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for his paper titled "A Frequency Domain Theory for Structural Identification."  The AHS Lichten Award winner presents his paper at AHS Forum, and to the European Rotorcraft Forum to complete the exchange for the Cheeseman Award paper is presented annually at the AHS Forum as part of a reciprocal agreement with the ERF.
