The Paul E. Haueter Memorial Award presented first on the program this year was accepted by Mr. L. J. Evans, President, Grumman Aerospace Corporation, for his company significant contribution to development of vertical takeoff and landing vehicles, other than helicopters, for their development of the LM as exemplified by its operation and from the moon.
