Forum 64, 2008 Membership Awards won by AHS Southwest Chapter. The individual who wins the Individual Sponsor award, wins a trip to the AHS Forum, including airfare from a point originating in the U.S., hotel accommodations, complimentary registration
and tickets to all Forum social functions. This year’s winner was Richard J. Millman, President and CEO, Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. Mr. Millman kindly donated the
airfare and hotel accommodations back to the Society. Mr. Millman, from the AHS Southwest Chapter, actually won all of the other AHS membership awards this year
for his foresight in creating the first AHS membership payroll deduction plan for all of the employees at Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. This idea was the brainchild of Jon S. Tatro, Director of Advanced Concept Development at Bell and the AHS International Membership Chairman. The AHS Every-Member-Get-a-Member Contest recognizes the chapter with the greatest percentage of members who sponsored a new member during the past year. The AHS Chapter Member Percent Increase Contest is given to the chapter that has the greatest percentage increase in membership. The AHS Chapter Member Net Increase Contest was also won by the AHS Southwest Chapter and Jon S. Tatro and Michael Blake of Bell Helicopter Textron accepted all of the membership awards on behalf of the chapter and Mr. Millman.
