At the Society's 23rd Annual National Forum this year again highlighted the vertical-flight aircraft industry's year in North America on May 10-12 as helicopter engineers and other professionally interested VTOL technology streamed into the nation's capital. Attendance, excluding a count of guest privately invited by participating companies, was estimated at 2.000. 

Honors Night Dinner attendance alone was up more than 10 per cent over last year--to 1,034. As in previous year, the Society welcomed several delegations from abroad.
