On May 16, 2018, Usman Asif (Sikorsky), the VFS Director for the Northeast US Region, presented a donation check in the amount of $2,000 toward the VFS Vertical Flight Foundation (VFF) scholarship program, provided by proceeds from the VFS Stratford Chapter annual golf tournament. The check was presented to David Koopersmith (Boeing), Chair of the Board.
