The 6th Annual Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) Student Challenge was held on Monday, May 14, 2018 as part of the 74th Annual Forum & Technology Display, at the Phoenix Convention Center (see www.vtol.org/MAV).
Although no team was able to autonomously complete the challenge again this year, an Honorable Mention for Autonomous Flight — with a $1,000 prize — went to the Vaughn College of Aeronautics & Technology's “Aerial Robotics Team”. This team was the top scorer this year in the autonomous category. VFS photo by Kenneth Krehbiel. CC BY-SA 3.0
