Igor I. Sikorsky International Trophy 2006 at annual Forum 62 Awards won by Eurocopter. On May 14, 2005, a Eurocopter AS350B3 Ecureuil/AStar landed and then took off from the summit of Mount Everest at 29,035 feet. This landing set new world records for both the highest altitude landing and take-off by a helicopter. Accepting the award are Didier Del Salle, the test pilot on the left, and Marc Paganini, president of American Eurocopter on the right.
