Boeing Vertol Co., competing for a production contract to manufacture the helicopter that will replace the Army's Huey, rolled out its UTTAS prototype Sept. 9 at ceremonies at its suburban Philadelphia facility. Several thousand company employees, as well as Army personnel, government leaders, and subcontractors witnessed debut of the twin-engine, single-rotor YUH-61A.
