Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. -- Three well-known members of Jolly Green Pilots Association are (left to right) George C. Martin, now a civilian helicopter pilot but a captain in the Air Force in 1965 and pilot of a CH-3C which made the first Jolly Green Giant rescue; Maj. Herbert R. Zehnder, who commanded one of two HH-3Es that made first non-stop transatlantic helicopter flight in 1967, and Maj. J. Larry Butera, much-decorated HH-3E pilot in Vietnam.
