FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KEY MAN -- Landing signal officer applies tension on cable connecting CHSS-2 and beartrap, as pilot applies lift to keep cable taught. At split second between sea swells, landing signal officer rapidly increases winch tension, and CHSS-2 is brought smartly to deck -- where beartrap keeps it firm. Landing signal officer sits in small cockpit to one side of flight deck where he controls winch tension and speed, activation of beartrap's jaws, and traversing cable that moves helicopter in and out of hangar.
