Sharing his interest are James McCroskey, program chairman and research scientist with the Ames Directorate Army AMDRL, Ames Research Center, and Petty Officer First Class Jan Dyer, the Commander's assistant, who also spoke. Cdr. Compton, executive officer of the Naval Reserve HS85 ASW Squadron, NAS Alameda, and Squadron member Dyer, discussed naval helicopter development for ASW by highlighting technology related to current and planned equipment and techniques.
