Cessna CH-1, 1954.
The CH-1 helicopter, designed by the helicopter division of The Cessna Aircraft Company, Wichita, Kansas, is pictured on one of its recent test flights over the Kansas countryside. The CH-1 has excellent flight and hovering characteristics. Its Continental FS0-470 engine supplies 260 h.p. net to the transmission. CAA flight tests on the helicopter will be completed soon.
