
Boeing T50-B0-10 is a growth version of the Boeing T50 helicopter engine in production for the United States Navy's QH-50C drone anti-submarine helicopter. The T50-B0-10 is flat rated at 330 shaft-horsepower on a Navy hot day (90F at sea level). The engine weighs 243 pounds equipped as a package for drone helicopter application. This weight includes a completely integral oil system including an exhaust eductor oil cooler. The engine is designed for single-point mounting by cantilevering the powerplant at its output shaft end from the helicopter transmission. T50-B0-10 is the military version of the Boeing Model 550 helicopter turbine which is rated at 425 shaft horsepower with growth potential to more than 500 horsepower. Boeing photo.
