James Crabtree is the manager of AAH administration at Hughes Military Helicopter Division. He is professionally affiliated with AHS. Crabtree joined Hughes 34 years ago as a weight engineer, a field in which his interest is manifested by membership in the Society of Weight Aeronautical Engineers dating from 1939. Now a SAWE Honorary Fellow, he was its national president in 1949-50. He is a former Associate Fellow of the Institute of Aeronautical Sciences and held membership in that organization from 1936 to 55.
