The 1975 AHS San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Fly-In at Palo Alto Airport attracted more than 60 AHS members and an estimated 1000 spectators who viewed 18 military and civilian helicopters (13 in this image), and a handful of private airplanes on display. The Chapter used the occasion to introduce its newly-elected officers to the membership, including President Fred Immen, of the U.S. Army Air Mobility R&D Laboratory; Vice President and Program Director Jack Rabbot, NASA-Ames Research Center; Secretary-Treasurer Terry Gossett, AMRDL; Technical Director Jim Biggers, NASA-Ames; Membership Chairman Claire Merriweather, Hughes Helicopters; Publicity Chairman Lt. Col. Dan Dugan, AMRDL; and Western Region Director John McCloud, also of NASA Ames. Also introduced was Western Region Vice President Andrew W. Kerr, of AMRDL.
