
The He 219 has been described as the best night fighter operated in World War II by the German Air Force, the Luftwaffe. It was equipped with radar antennas on the nose. This example is on display at the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum (NASM) Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia.
